Robert Doisneau was born in 1912 and died in 1994. "The kiss from City Hall" and "Love and barbed wire". These are the names given to the splendid photographs by the French photographer.

This Parisian photographer, initially started as an advertising photographer for a French car company. Quickly became a photojournalist abroad. Today considered as one of the pillars of humanist photography. During the Second World War, he accumulated the images that would make his success. Going "where there is nothing to see", privileging the furtive moments and those he called "the minuscule joys".

Robert Doisneau relates his time with a tender and caring eye, while keeping a depth of reflection, an insolence in front of power and authority, and an irreducible spirit of independence.
