Herb Lubalin was an American graphic designer and typographer. One of the founders of ITC (International Typeface Corporation).
Worked as a creative in a lot of agencies, until 1964 when he founded his own studio.

Created a series of editorials with Ralph Ginzburg, named Eros and Fact, that helped him to his recognition. Those were anti-stablishment publications. In addition, gathered some writers that were not published in the most popular American media. Fact that consolidated him to one of the most remarkable figures of the freedom and anti-censorship movement. Later on Lubalin created Avant Garde Magazine. A high creative value editorial with a strongly critical line of the society, the sexual taboo and to the goberment power.
